At the end of my senior year in college I was asked to develop a thesis that solved a problem with the use of graphic design. My professor cautioned us about taking on too lofty of a world issue and suggested we focus on a smaller scale problem that efficient and effective design would have the most impact on. Currently in my fourth year of college, I realized that there was an issue that I myself needed help with; something that should have been “common sense” to anyone at my age but was far from it.

I decided to develop a series of guidebooks that would teach the young adult practical life skills. I focused on four main areas (Cooking, Cleaning, Finance, & Auto) and created four pocket-sized guidebooks that all fit in one pocket-sized package.
